How does the free trial work?
Send us 3 to 10 of your real orders and your product list with the form on this page. We run them through Botowski and email you the result within 2 working days. The trial is open to the first 20 distributors.
What is order entry automation?
Order entry automation means software reads the orders your customers send, by email, PDF, spreadsheet or photo, and creates the sales order for you, instead of someone typing every line into QuickBooks, Xero or your ERP. Botowski does this for distributors: it matches each line to your own product codes and prices, and only asks a person about the lines it isn't sure about.
Is it only for food distributors?
No. We built it first for food, beverage and foodservice distributors, and our first results come from a food and drink distributor. It works the same way for any wholesale distributor whose customers order by email, PDF or photo, such as janitorial and paper, packaging or building supplies.
How is this different from EDI or an ordering portal?
EDI and ordering portals ask your customers to change how they order, and most small buyers won't. Botowski works with the orders they already send: free-text emails, PDF purchase orders, spreadsheets and phone photos of handwritten notes.
What counts as a document?
Any email, PDF, scan or photo Botowski reads for you, including an email that turns out not to be an order. That keeps billing simple, and at our prices it stays cheap.
What if it gets a line wrong?
Nothing goes anywhere until a person approves the order. Lines it isn't sure about are highlighted, and a correction is remembered for that buyer.
Do my buyers have to change anything?
No. They keep emailing, sending PDFs or photos the way they do today. For the trial, you send us a few of those orders. At launch, you forward them, or point your order inbox at Botowski.
Which accounting programs does it work with?
It makes import files for QuickBooks (Online and Desktop), Xero, MYOB AccountRight and the inventory tools many distributors use: Cin7, Unleashed, Fishbowl and Zoho Inventory. Excel and CSV cover anything else. Bigger systems like NetSuite and Business Central are connected for you on the Managed plan.
What happens to my documents?
Files you send for the trial are used only for your trial and deleted within 30 days. We run every plan, including Free, on paid AI services that do not train on your data. Once the app launches, you can also delete your documents yourself at any time.
Can I cancel?
There's nothing to cancel during the trial: it's free and needs no card. At launch, plans are monthly with no contract. Downgrade or leave whenever you like.
